The Derailers will be appearing at three different venues this weekend in the Central Texas area.

Friday night we'll be at the White Horse in Austin. Saturday night we'll be at the Texas Music Theater in San Marcos, and Sunday is a Derailers SUNday at Antones - it's a free show.

But wait! There's more!
The White Horse and Antones are both excellent venues. We have great shows there and we have lots of fun. But this is our first time appearing at the Texas Music Theater in San Marcos. We were there years ago when it was under different ownership. Since then they have totally remodeled the theater and revamped the sound system. It really is a first-rate venue now, right on the square in San Marcos. We want to make a great impression, and we want to do more shows there in the future. So let's make the Saturday night a big big show! Bring your sweetheart and bring the neighbors.

For every person who makes it out to all three shows, I will give you one Derailers CD or one Derailers shirt!

On Friday April 13 we'll be at the Crossroads Saloon and Steakhouse in Fredericksburg TX. It's lots of fun, and they have great food there.

On Saturday April 14 we'll be at the 11th Street Cowboy Bar in Bandera TX. Situated in the beautiful Texas Hill Country, this outdoor stage is just where you want to be this time of year.

Sunday April 15 is a Derailers SUNDay! We do a Rock & Roll-heavy show for the dancers at Antone's. It's all ages and it's ALL FREE!

We are very excited to be once again headed north up to St. Paul Minnesota. We'll be on the season opener show of "A Prairie Home Companion" with Garrison Keillor and his excellent cast and band.

The show is broadcast live from 5-7pm and then we'll be a part of a street dance and meatloaf supper out in front of the theater. The street dance is free and open to the public. The show is produced by American Public Media and is broadcast on NPR affiliate stations worldwide. To see where to dial in in your area, go to http://prairiehome.publicradio.org/.

Let me tell you about something really cool that will happening on Sunday evenings. The Derailers will be doing free shows at the Highball (1142 S. Lamar - right by the Alamo Draft House). These will occur on April 24 (Easter), May 1, and May 22 at 7:00.

This is the perfect bridge between Chicken S*it Bingo and Heybale. We'll count on seeing all the neighbors, and all the dancers!
