Central City, Home, the end.

Faithful readers, Talk about driving, talk about miles, talk about mountains…  We woke up and left our beloved Santa Fe at 8:00am and drove. I made it about 2 hours, and had to turn over the driving to Ed. Around 2 or 3 in the afternoon I resumed my post. Santa Fe

There was an In-N-Out at that exit, but I didn’t find out until we were leaving. Just before reaching Moab on US 191, Brian made us pull over, and into Arches National Park. He had been there before and ... Read more >

Salt Lake City, Utah

Y’all, Here’s the thing: I have kind of a soft spot for Salt Lake City. Lord knows, the city hasn’t earned that, but I have many happy memories here. In 2001 I lived in San Francisco, California and worked in a soul band called The Dynatones. We traveled all across this great land of ours, but we seem to have spent a lot of time in Reno Nevada, and even more ... Read more >
